We’re looking to improve how WorkNinja uses staff location data to make job time tracking more accurate and reduce the need for manual clocking in and out.
Potential improvements include:
Location tracking controls – allow businesses to require location tracking for field staff, with company-level settings to control how it is used.
Automatic job check-in – recognise when a staff member arrives at or within a defined radius of a job address and automatically start their time on the job.
Automatic job check-out – recognise when a staff member leaves the job location or returns to their designated home/base location and automatically end the job timer.
Location-based attendance – use job addresses and location information to provide a more accurate record of when staff arrive at and leave jobs.
Configurable location radius – allow businesses to determine how close a staff member needs to be to a job before location-based actions are triggered.
The aim is to make time tracking more automatic for field teams while giving businesses greater confidence in job attendance and time-on-site records.
